Camp's Bio

Camp Kaufman serves as the firm’s Managing Partner for State Government Relations and brings 21 years of public affairs experience to Cornerstone. In that role he coordinates the firm’s activities across its 10 state offices in Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Texas, and Virginia, including business development, client service, and political giving strategy.

At the federal level, Camp concentrates his efforts in the areas of telecommunications, information technology, and health care.

Prior to his work at Cornerstone, Camp worked on Capitol Hill, serving as communications director and a senior policy advisor for two Louisiana Members of Congress. He has also been involved in various campaigns for Republican candidates at the local, state, and national levels, particularly in Louisiana.

He has served on various local community boards including the First Tee of Washington, D.C. and the Leadership Giving Program at St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes School. Camp holds a B.A. in Journalism from Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!) and is married with two children.
