Caroline's Bio

Caroline Atkinson joined Cornerstone in January 2019. In her role as senior HR and operations manager, Caroline handles the day-to-day operational aspects of the firm as they relate to human resources, employee engagement, vendor relations, and operational efficiencies.

Caroline came to Cornerstone from Deloitte where she worked as a manager in Deloitte’s Government and Public Service practice as a Human Capital consultant. During her time with Deloitte, Caroline worked with public sector clients and focused on driving business-oriented, high impact organizational efficiencies and providing insight into workforce planning, competency optimization, career management, and succession planning.

Prior to joining Deloitte, Caroline worked at the Federal Reserve Board as a financial systems analyst. At the Federal Reserve Board, Caroline’s responsibilities included analyzing financial and economic data as well as monitoring changes in regulatory reform and accounting regulation to aid in the implementation of monetary policy.

Caroline, a native Washingtonian, received her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. She currently resides in Washington, D.C. with her husband.
