Tim's Bio

Timothy Wolfmeyer joined the staff of Cornerstone Government Affairs in July 2009 from the office of Assistant Senate Majority Leader Richard J. Durbin (D-IL). A journalist by trade, Tim took the path less traveled to Washington—in a previous life he covered Major League Baseball for an award-winning Chicago-area newspaper.

At Cornerstone, he co-leads the firm’s education practice and counsels a broad array of higher and K-12 education, corporate, tribal, and association clients on the development and implementation of legislative, regulatory, funding, communications, and political strategies.

A native of suburban Chicago, Tim received his B.A. in English from The Colorado College.
